Hello, my name is Jessie Kelly, and I’m running for District 4 Committeeperson
My goal is to positively impact the culture of our local and transform how we fight back. I’ve proudly been a member of UAW Local 160 for over 14 years, working as a journeyman skilled trades Moldmaker in the plaster shop at Design.

I believe we must return to our roots—educating and empowering the membership. Our union’s true strength lies in the collective action of its members. An educated membership is a strong membership.

My commitment to the members of District 4:
• I will always speak with members first before addressing their concerns with management.
• I will provide a copy of any grievance filed, along with access to a Google Doc containing all relevant notes and meeting updates.
• I will fight equally and passionately for all members.
• I will advocate for group grievances to build collective power and increase pressure.
• I will always speak up against wrongdoing—no matter the backlash or intimidation.
• I will fight to end the "living agreement" and push to formalize recurring issues in writing so we’re not forced to repeatedly battle the same problems.

I strongly believe in complete transparency and true democracy.
I bring a vision filled with creative, practical ideas to improve transparency, education, and communication in our district, including:

• A website with monthly updates on District 4 and Local 160 activities
